Liisa stepped out of society's matrix, left her career job in marketing in Australia, moved to Canada, and became a Ski & Bike Park Patroller and Yoga Teacher. These occupations in recreational sports and non-urban first aid responding have given her a great understanding of human anatomy, its functions, and how to prevent and heal injuries, but also how important is the mental aspect of the practice when working and playing physically challenging environments.

Liisa is fascinated by the human body's intelligence, the power of the mind, and our existence as a whole, which has driven her to study physiology, psychology, and coaching sciences. Yoga and meditation have always been her way to seek balance. In contrast, when she had a career in marketing and business development, but also to maintain the well-being of the body and the mind, yet to prevent injuries when she was a professional ski- and bike park patroller in Canada.

Liisa wants to encourage people to take an initiative and make decisions to improve their personal life, wholistic health and wellbeing. Liisa's teaching is a blend of traditional yoga and modern sciences, and her mission is to create a safe space for your practice on and off the mat.
